Welcome to Cultivating Generosity,

a Rad Philanthropy Newsletter

Welcome to Cultivating Generosity, the newsletter to help you create a values-driven, joyful, and intentional giving plan. Here you'll learn about ways to give, you'll receive prompts to help you hone in on your giving philosophy, I'll keep you up to date about news and trends in giving, and we'll have a fun time while we're at it.

Dear Friends -

Cultivating Generosity is changing.

It has been a joy for me to write this newsletter for eleven issues. But, as a solopreneur, it isn't quite serving the main focus of my business. I remain committed to donor education and will always think of myself as a donor advisor. But, this space needs to shift towards supporting my nonprofit clients, and helping them engage in holistic and purposeful engagement and fundraising with their communities.

What can you expect? If you've been following closely, you'll see this evolution as another face of the content I've already been creating. Here's my new mission:

Cultivating Generosity is the newsletter to help you flourish as a values-driven and joyful nonprofit and advancement professional. Whether you think of our work as voluntary action for the public good, or love of humanity - I'm here to help you connect you and your work to your community's purpose. I'll share tactical information to engage your supporters around the acts of giving (time, talent, treasure, ties, testimony), ask you to reflect deeply about the why behind your programs, provide sector news, and we'll have a fun time while we're at it.

What do you need to do?

If you want to stay on board the Cultivating Generosity train, I'll kindly ask you to re-subscribe.

If you don't want to continue, no hard feelings, AND, no action is needed on your end!

Thank you for being part of this fun experiment and I wish you the best in your giving!

Rad Reflections

I'm not going to leave you with just an open letter! This newsletter and the creation of Rad Philanthropy has been an exercise in courage and self-actualization. There are so many ups and downs that come along with a journey like this. More than anything else, it's a journey to know and serve myself. This is the song I knew I had to play for this moment. Oh, who am I kidding, I had to play this one too.

Did this newsletter leave you with any burning questions about your giving? Drop me a line at perry@radphilanthropy.com and I'll help you out.
