Nowruz, Persian New Year!

March 22nd 2024

We have celebrated on March 22nd this year, marking the start of Spring and the new year for over 300 million people globally. Originating over 3,000 years ago in Central Asia, it promotes peace, solidarity, and cultural diversity. Nowruz traditions include family gatherings, gift exchanges, and enjoying traditional foods. It symbolizes life in harmony with nature and respect for natural cycles.

Iftar Fundraising

Supporting our Palestinian and Afghan brothers and sisters

March 30th 2024

Our fundraising event has been launched on Saturday March 30th for Iftar time in downtown Montreal! 

Our objective was to raise funds to provide essential food aid to communities in Gaza and Afghanistan whose lives are at risk. We have shared on this holy night delicious food, great music and heard powerful and enlightening speeches.

Thank you to everybody who came and participated and we are looking forward to meeting again for more fundraising and more events!

Palestinian Youth Movement Fundraiser

March 27th 2024

On March 27th, The AWCM had the opportunity to attend a fundraising event organized by the Palestinina Youth Movement in Montreal. The night aimed to gather funds for those living in Gaza. It was an inspiring evening filled with joy and generosity.

L'Aïd: Une Nuit de Célébrations et d’Impact pour l'Avenir

Rejoignez-nous avec joie pour célébrer l'Aïd au CFAM le 12 avril, marquant la fin du mois de jeûne du Ramadan.

Cet événement vise à englober la riche diversité de la culture afghane à travers des performances de danse captivantes. Les festivités mettront également en vedette des talents musicaux spéciaux, tels que le chanteur afghan Ramin Bakhtary. Nowruz, Nouvel An Persan!

Nous avons célébré le 22 mars cette année, marquant le début du printemps et de la nouvelle année pour plus de 300 millions de personnes dans le monde. Originaire d'Asie centrale il y a plus de 3 000 ans, Nowruz promeut la paix, la solidarité et la diversité culturelle. Les traditions de Nowruz incluent les rassemblements familiaux, les échanges de cadeaux et la dégustation de plats traditionnels. Il symbolise la vie en harmonie avec la nature et le respect des cycles naturels.

Collecte de Fonds pour Gaza et l'Afghanistan

Notre événement de collecte de fonds à eu lieu le samedi 30 mars, pendant l'Iftar, au centre-ville de Montréal !

Notre objectif était de collecter des fonds pour fournir une aide alimentaire essentielle aux communautés de Gaza et d'Afghanistan dont la vie est en danger.

Merci à tous ceux qui sont venus et ont participé, et nous avons hâte de nous retrouver pour d'autres collectes de fonds et d'autres événements !

Collecte de Fonds organisée par le Mouvement de la Jeunesse pour la Palestine

Le 27 mars, le CFAM a eu l'occasion d'assister à un événement de collecte de fonds organisé par le Mouvement de la Jeunesse pour la Palestine à Montréal. La soirée avait pour but de récolter des fonds pour les habitants de Gaza. Ce fut une soirée inspirante remplie de joie et de générosité.
