Happy New Year from the Alberta OCD Foundation!

 

We are excited to begin another year of supporting each other, sharing resources and building community with you all!

AOCDF Exposure Walk at WEM!

Saturday, March 2, 2024, @ 12pm - This is a free event

 

The Alberta OCD Foundation is organizing its first OCD Exposure Walk on Saturday, March 2, 2024 @ 12pm at West Edmonton Mall.

 

Members are invited to meet the AOCDF volunteers at door #2 in WEM by the mini golf for 12pm. There will be a 1-hour walk in the mall with various stops and instructions to voluntarily practice various exposures together. After the walk, members are free to leave or stay for lunch in the food court and socialize.

AOCDF Family & Caregiver OCD Support Group

The Alberta OCD Foundation's Family & Caregiver OCD Support Groups are held online once a month. Join us at 7:00pm-8:30pm on Thursday, February 8, 2024 and meet other family members and caregivers of individuals who live with OCD.

Edmonton Parent Meet-Up

460 Riverbend Square NW, Edmonton, AB T6R 2X2
Wednesday, February 21st, 6:30pm - 8:30pm - this is a free event

 

As children continue to navigate the school year, school and home life are often sources of stress for families of children with Tourette syndrome & OCD. The meet up is a chance to share and discuss lived experiences with other families and members of our team in an informal setting. Please do come along by signing up with Nancy at ngm16@shaw.ca
