"Fondata sul lavorO":

not COSA NOSTRA, but RES PuBLICA

I asked for 7, I got 14!!!

14 of you contributed to my Salvadanaio for the month of May.

This is a miracle we did, in only two weeks.

Here are the first rough numbers:

- 12 people transacted on my website, for a total of

- 13 transactions (one of you contributed twice, with a regular €10/month subscription plus buying a €70 plan - and without asking for a free session: incredibly generous, thank you SO much!).

€10 x 12 people =

€120+

€70=

€190 reached through website subscriptions

Then I got 2 more incredibly generous contributions, again from people who didn't ask for a session for themselves, one via PayPal (€120) and the other via bank transfer (€100).

€120 + €100 =

€220 reached through one-instalment contributions

€ 190 through website +

€220 through PayPal/ bank transfer =

€410 of which I got €384.04,

mostly due to PayPal and Wix (my website provider) transaction fees, as you can see below

(which is kind of a shame, because those €26 that went lost in translation would have accounted for half a session the way I am calculating them - we'll figure that out).

€384,04 (before taxes)

is our Salvadanaio total balance for May 2022.

(That is, beginning on May 17th, when I lauched the initative, exactly two weeks ago.)

UNBELIEVABLE. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

In fact, of OUR hearts.

What do you do with €384.04 in you Salvadanaio?

Here's a brief sample of what I did on Pergolesi with Giulia, a 22yr old graduate at the Vatican City Pontificio Istituto di Musica Sacra and expert of Gregorian Music, who has been following my social accounts for months and hoping for a session ever since!

Then I coached Michele, a brilliant 23yr old concert pianist and maestro collaboratore, on Malatesta's "Bella Siccome un Angelo".

I also worked with 25yr old mezzosoprano Maria Elena on Sesto's "Parto, Parto" (twice, because I had a vacant slot and she just asked!) and then I saw 25yr old gorgeous soprano Maddalena - a subscriber of my Black Friday promotion, for a monthly additional session on her plan.

(Inevitable statistics: all Italians under age 26, this month - how about that!)

I gave five sessions free of charge, thanks to you all.

What did that cost? Let's see.

I calculated €50 for the first four mentioned sessions and €34 for the Black Friday one.

(My standard sessions would be €70 and the Black Friday ones were half priced: this is my way to contribute to the Salvadanaio).

So €50x 4 sessions=

€200+

€34=

€234 Salvadanaio balance spent in the month of May

What is left? Let's see:

€ 384 -

€234 =

------------------

€150 Salvadanaio balance on June 1st

To these €150 during the month will be added 12 montly €10 subscriptions, for a total of €120 (before PayPay/Wix fees), but let's say that, as of today, we can foresee a

€270 Salvadanaio minimum balance for the month of June

Those three of you who have OCD as myself, can please help us bring this uneven number to a perfect €300 within today, please???

3 more of you on board within today to reach €300 - PLEASE???

Do you REALLY need to be talked further into this revolution?
OK! Hear me out!!!

What am I going to do with the Salvadanaio monthly balance in June?
First of all, give free sessions to those who ask, but then...

I may or may not start group sessions for a Cantare Italiano revolutionary online production of Le Nozze di Figaro, maybe?
Who knows, just stay tuned, maybe?

Depends on you: just click below to hop on board and that is where you'll find me.
