December 2020 Newsletter

2020 has certainly been an unforgettable year at Piano Players; not only because of the pandemic but because of YOU! We are thankful for every single one of our students and amazed at the growth we have seen despite the challenges faced by so many throughout this year. Thank you for making Piano Players the wonderful and vibrant environment it has become. We couldn't do it without you!

We are looking forward to the new adventures 2021 will bring and we wish you and your family the happiest of holiday seasons, a Merry Christmas, and a peaceful and joyous New Year!

Giving Back

Piano Players is committed to giving back, and we donate a portion of our proceeds each month to various causes in and around our community. Foster care and adoption are near and dear to our hearts, and we were saddened to learn that the local Children’s Services organizations were not accepting donations of gifts for children in foster care this season due to the pandemic.

As some of you know, we welcomed our daughter into our family as a foster child when she was two days old, and we were blessed to be able to adopt her at the age of two. Since we were unable to host our annual foster child sponsorship week this year, we made some contributions to both the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption and Threads of Hope. The Dave Thomas Foundation helps fund adoptions and Threads of Hope is a wonderful organization that supports vulnerable women and children in the Philippines. Each of these organizations sent us some small gifts in return, and we would like to pass them on to you. This week, Piano Players students will be receiving a key fob giving them free Wendy’s frosties for a year from the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, and a very special handmade purple and white bracelet from Threads of Hope.
