It was wonderful to meet people in-person, and to collaborate on such a range of important topics. I would like to personally thank the NDE Team who made the conference possible—it was a lot of hard work, and the end-result was phenomenal!

Foster Care

Hello everyone! Some of us were lucky enough to attend this year’s ESEA Conference in Indianapolis, IN, where we got to attend amazing sessions on a wide variety of topics. One of the best sessions I attended was “You Can’t Read a Book and Run from a Lion at the Same Time,” by Tara Brown.

Brown taught and coached for over 25 years and worked with diverse student groups across the country. Her teaching experience has made her passionate about supporting students and she believes the best way to do that is...

Tracy Pechulis

NDE has $1,600,000 to subaward to LEAs (see attached PDF) to reimburse Dual Enrollment/Concurrent cost for students who took at least one course during the 2023 school year.  This funding has been earmarked for historically underserved populations and for reimbursement to LEA families only.  The funds are GEER II and expire on 9/30/23 so they must be applied to the current school year participants.
