Taming the Beast
This one is for all the fluffy folk out there. The hairy legs, the beards & the other bits.
Let's not neglect ourselves & let's encourage the bearded folk to
keep that beard in check.
The last two weekends Balsamic Moon has been at the market. I had a great time talking, catching up & meeting some incredible people. This is definitely my highlight in driving a small business. I love to hear the feedback on what you lot think about Balsamic Moons' products.
One product that was sorted after was Balsamic Moons' Shaving Butter - three people were asking after it on separate occasions! This is a product that I still use myself, but I had thought about discontinuing it from the Balsamic Moon range - I just didn't feel confident putting it out there, so I shelved it. But now I know - the people want it back! So it's back & I hope you'll love it as much as I do!

Shaving Butter
It's a different way to shave, but I think you'll love the results. Minimise ingrown hairs,
gives a close shave & moisturise
- all in the one product.
Use after bathing. After drying off, apply a small amount of Shaving Butter onto the skin - a little goes a long way. Now let that razor glide over your skin. (You will find that you will have to wipe your razor every few strokes)
You're legs - or whatever you've shaved will be smooth & moisturised.
A word of warning - this product will liquefy in heat. Store in a stable temperature area.
Hellebores are fondly referred to as a Winter Rose.
I planted Hellebores throughout my garden last year learning that they are a perennial plant. I am all for planting once & enjoying. Now winter is here they are in bloom & they are breathtaking! They come in a few colours, limes & velvets. Hellebores are readily available in most Garden Centres. I just wanted to share this gem because beautiful winter flowers are few are far between.
Moon Phase
Waxing Crescent
13th June 2024
The moons light is growing.
This phase symbolizes growth & intention & setting the stage for what you wish to achieve in the coming lunar cycle. So set yourself to achieve the goals you have set this month
- until the New Moon is upon us again.
Lunar Gardening
There's not a lot to do in the garden at the moment. the weather is cool which means root growth is slow. But it is a good time to plant fruit trees.
It's a great time to do some learning. You could learn about soil health...? Dream up some ideas & research them into life in the coming seasons. I have used this time to harvest & store seeds from the garden. I've done Hollyhock, Beetroot & Marigolds.
I am also starting to grow Microgreens - more about that next time.
