Anyone For Chess?
When we first bought our outdoor chess set, it was on a bit of a whim and we didn't really know how much it would be used.
Well, it's proved so popular, that we decided to make it more of a permanent feature. We also had these 'hand' seats that had been tucked away for a while until we decided what to do with them. And then the whole project came together. So, gone is the small plastic sheet on a sloping lawn, and in comes a solid, level patio style chess set complete with seats for the protagonists to perch while considering their next moves.

Even More Trees!
Our little orchard is slowly expanding, as we've added a Cox's Orange Pippin and a cherry tree. Another cherry tree has also gone in next to the garden railway. There's been big progress on this area lately, update to come next month.
Christmas Bunnies
This Christmas we were delighted to find some surprise baby bunnies in the hutch! Meet Holly, Ivy, and Mistletoe (of course!). They'll soon be old enough to say hello to guests; they're very friendly and love to picked up and cuddled.
