More than 1,000 people gathered to protest discrimination against Asian Americans in Los Angeles on March 13. 

Chinatown Service Center stands against oppression, inequity, and intolerance. Recent racially motivated attacks against Asian American & Pacific Islanders in Atlanta, Oakland, and all over the globe, are inexcusable and spotlight the work we must do to generate major systemic change. We are committed to creating compassion, empathy, and care for all.

During these difficult times, we continue to hear stories of fear, anxiety, pain, and loss. Some things such as a feeling of safety and normalcy may seem as if they have been taken away from us forever. Please know that we are working as hard as we can to provide safe spaces to share, vent, and heal. We are pushing for policies and programs that will generate protections and resources for all of us who are affected.
