I am excited about several upcoming opportunities to show my artwork at Chicago area venues in the first half of 2024, starting in March, and want to share what is happening and where to find me. First up is a two-person exhibit "You're Not Really Seeing This" with textile artist Kelsey Merreck Wagner on the main floor gallery at Evanston Art Center. We both work with plastic and have planned some immersive installations, a scavenger hunt and a free workshop to create a community-produced installation led by both of us using our techniques working with plastics. Shortly after Evanston, I will be exhibiting with Ginny Krueger at the Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art in a show we are calling "Secret Ingredients: Marking Time and Memory with Material". Both of us use a wide variety of materials in our work and curating works together in this space is sure to be a visual feast. Please join us! Miniatures Conjure Delight I'll have a mini gallery and several larger works in this exhibit curated by @angelicakauffmangallery and The Garrett Museum of Art in Garrett Indiana. Visit the Oak Park Art League (OPAL) I am the Executive Director of the Oak Park Art League, as of January of this year. OPAL is an art community in a historic E.E. Roberts building in the heart of Oak Park, offering classes and educational events as well as monthly exhibitions, many of which are open calls to all artists.
