Blessings Abound!

We are SO grateful for everyone who was a part of the Unity Yard Sale. Leane Gabel did an amazing job organizing and facilitating the event! Many volunteers helped before, during and after to sort, display and sell the large variety of quality items that were donated by our community. The sale was a HUGE success, raising almost $3500 for Unity!!!

The Marketplace Fundraiser has also been fantastic, bringing in over $1500 thus far. We appreciate Lil McBrien for her dedication to this project! There are still 5 items 'for sale' so be sure to check out the table in the back of the Sanctuary after the service.

We feel very blessed by the generosity of our community!

So far, we have raised $5015 towards our goal of $12,ooo to balance the Unity budget. Some donation checks came in this week as well, and the upcoming Fall Concert is another opportunity to increase the funds. Hope to see you all there!

Fall Concert

On October 13th we are having a special Fall Concert at Unity. The evening will start at 5:30 p.m. with a Chili dinner cooked by the Council and staff. At 7:00 p.m. a concert will begin in the Sanctuary, featuring John Magnie, his family and various musicians. Tickets are available now in the office, with a suggested love offering of $20. A Quote from The Green Team

“The woodland teaches us to walk more slowly, sense more subtly, listen more deeply and feel more keenly, so we can taste the extraordinary magic in each ordinary moment. Our innate sense of magic, mystery and wonder is restored because the woodland re-awakens the ancient wisdom that lives deep in our souls.”

~ From a poem by Jackie Stewart, titled “Come to the Wild Woods”

Gratitude:

We thank all our wonderful volunteers: Kellee James, Dale Pettigrew, Sharon Elias, Janice Ballard, Nancy Hughes, Holly Gates & Camina Sylvestro. We appreciate all our weekly volunteers who are essential in helping Unity stay organized, run smoothly and look beautiful inside & out!
