When the coronavirus crisis struck, we all wondered how the art world would react and how that would affect Stride Arts, a fresh new gallery in New York City.
While online sales still make up a small portion of the overall art market, in 2019 they represented just 9 percent of a total $64 billion in global sales according to the Art Basel/UBS Report. Many analysts suggested that in 2020 we will see an acceleration of businesses in the art world. More business will take place online or privately during and after the pandemic.
After temporarily closing to the public Stride Arts has reopened confident that the art world will return and thrive anew with our cutting-edge artwork and marketing strategies adapted to meet today’s challenges.
Our virtual gallery launched in May 2020 has introduced a selection of distinguished artists and has been able to capture enthusiastic audiences worldwide. We will continue to offer virtual events including online visits to our artist’s studios and online viewing rooms for our VIP collectors.
