Hello and welcome to the first edition of THE WILD TIMES, the official online newsletter of the Southeast’s number one ‘50s and ‘60s band, Johnny Wild and the Delights!  In this week’s edition, we’re deep in the heart of quarantine country, taking care of business from the homestead, reorganizing closets and polishing the baseboards. All shows are postponed for the time being but that doesn’t mean we’re not hard at work on some exciting new things for the future.

The gals are taking this opportunity to put together some amazing new choreography (video coming soon!) and the fellas are tightening up their parts for some hot and fresh tunes we’ve been working on. You may even hear a crisp new Johnny Wild Original in the coming months!

We also celebrated two quarantine birthdays this month, Mr. Randy Coole on April 9th and ol’ Johnny himself turned the big 4-0 on April 17th! Be sure to buy these fine fellas a drink or two at our next show, whenever that may be.

Our last show in front of a live audience before the quarantine regulations took place was on March 11th at Lake Sumter in the Villages, FL. The very next day we received a full order of our hot new Johnny Wild enamel pins (see above!). Since we couldn’t sell them at our merch table, we decided to finally open up our long-awaited online store so we can continue to provide you folks with the finest in vintage rock ‘n roll from a safe distance of at least 6 feet (or 0.947 Johnny Wilds).

These pins were designed by Disney Imagineer and close friend of the band, Mr. Evan Miga, who also designed our truly fantastic band logo as well as the cover art for our first album, One Night With You.

Speaking of albums, boy-howdy do we have you covered! All three of our CDs are available in the shop for the same price you’d see them at our shows, Fifteen Glorious American Dollars! **HOT TIP!!** if you don’t have a copy of One Night With You, get in there ASAP because we’ve only got a few copies left, and they're going fast!

We also received a large shipment of the classic Johnny Wild sunglasses! Be sure to visit our online store so you're ready to rock your new gear at our next show! 

While we’re visiting the magical land of hot deals, let’s talk private shows! Considering the current climate of public rock ’n roll basically being ILLEGAL (just like the good ol’ days), we want you all to know that we’re ready and rarin’ to get back on the stage when we finally get that sweet, sweet green light to party. As such, we’re offering summer specials on any private event booked between June and October of this year. Yeah, you read that right, depending on the date and location, you can expect savings up to 30% for a full 6-piece band with sound and lighting provided, ALL SUMMER LONG. We’re so ready to get this thing up and rolling again that we’ll even throw in a special a cappella performance of “Surfin’ Bird” sung by the one and only Randy Coole!**
