Chris Doyle, Bio
For more than 30 years Chris has deeply engaged in myriad aspects of responsible tourism development and human-powered outdoor recreation spanning more than 80 countries. Classically trained in communications, public relations, marketing and journalism, he has developed and honed a diverse and related suite of skills and expertise delivering vision, leadership, high-impact results, innovative strategies and creative solutions benefiting tourism, outdoor gear/apparel, fashion, retail (brick & mortar + e-commerce) and publishing industries.
Chris joined Shannon Stowell in 2004 to launch the global Adventure Travel Trade Association and today, is Managing Director of CMD Inspired, a consultancy delivering objective, global expertise in responsible tourism and human-powered outdoor recreation futures in tourism. He also serves as the Director of Marketing & Community Development for Tenson, The Swedish Outdoor Brand, which is active in the innovative Swedish CarbonZERO Project™, and has just introduced a new Tenson initiative, Community with Purpose. Additionally, he holds the following designations:
