With COVID-19 slowly decreasing, we are slowly reopening the office.

Caring and Sharing, Mentor Program and PSDP sessions will still be conducted virtually.

Important and confidential senior (and other) meetings can be conducted in office.

Special Announcements

 

Caring & Sharing SAT Practice Exam: On August 21st during the day, we will host a mandatory full-length practice exam for all of our Caring & Sharing students. This will replace the class for the day, and will give us insight on your progress. More information will be posted on your Google Classrooms.

 

General Announcements

 

  1. IEF Library & Book Lending Program: We have created a library with donated college textbooks from our students. If you would like to borrow a textbook for your class, you can do so from our library. Please contact Shevin Joseph for more details.
     
  2. Scholarships: Please begin applying to the various scholarships available from our scholarship list and NACAC's scholarship list. The sooner you begin applying, the more chances you have of winning and saving for your college education. Scholarships for international students can be found here.

Note: please only upload your financial documents onto the IEF Portal.

Senior College App. Process

Attention all rising seniors! Your college application process has begun - please see below for important documents and resources to keep on hand for this process.

 

  1. If you were not able to attend the Kickoff Session, here is the recording. Please view with your IEF account.
  2. Keep track of this Phase 1 & 2 Checklist during your meetings and this process.
  3. Save this Meeting Calendar (Seniors tab) to sign up for meetings - reminders will be sent through GuidedPath and your IEF email.

WAH Option for Volunteer Service

 

With the office closed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic and CDC's instructions, Work At Home (WAH) shifts are open on

When I Work. Below are instructions to sign up:

 

  • Log into When I Work, look at the open shifts, select a shift that works with your schedule. Only sign up if you can volunteer at that time, canceling at the last minute or forgetting you signed up are not valid excuses.

 

  • Contact Ann Idichandy, through text (267-304-7520) at least 24 hours prior to shift time, stating you would like to WAH and state the time you signed up on When I Work.

 

  • An email will be sent before your shift with your assignment. At the start of your shift, sign into the Time Clock and begin your work.

 

  • At the end of your shift, sign out the Time Clock and send your summary.
