| | The Health + Creativity Series: YOGA FOR CAREGIVERS This week, we're launching a concurring series that focuses on the well-being of ourselves in this time of crisis. From the new PAAL program The Mother League, Health + Creativity will feature voices to guide us through uncertain times toward healing, care, community, and finding peace in the turmoil. These online connections are designed to build community so that we can engage in dialogue, practice, and action together. Our first week is led by theatre artist, mother, and yoga instructor Krissy Shields, founder of Maha Mama. With a mission of "Women supporting women through education and radical self care techniques." Maha Mama was "created to assist and elevate those that raise our future, mothers." All caregiver are welcome to join this virtual yoga session, and children are always welcome in any PAAL programming. | | |

| | The Readiness Series: "MAKING WORK FROM HOME...WORK? (FOR PARENTS)" Last week we launched our free online workshops from the new PAAL HR Health programming, titled The Readiness Series (check out Episode 1, below, on "What to Prepare" for working from home and seeking employment). Schools are closed, and suddenly parents are schooling, caring, working, finding work, and balancing relationships with partners, co-workers, children, all at the same time. (WHUT...) Let's talk. This week we're connecting with Cindy Marie Jenkins, an expert in working from home as a parent. Cindy is a Write-at-Home-Mom from Los Angeles who lives in Beijing for cool reasons that require multiple NDAs to explain. She reviews has been published at The Mary Sue, Star Trek, Theatre Communications Guild, Theatre @ Boston Court and more. | | |

Catch up with Episode 1: "WHAT TO PREPARE" The first episode of PAAL HR Health's new programming, The Readiness Series, featured Arielle Sadan (Revel & Awe) and Iris McQuillan-Grace (PAAL). We know that these experiences of the pandemic happening all at once can be overwhelming, and HR for our field is either overwhelmed or non-existent. So we're creating workshops for you to find HR advisors, work from home insight, and caregiver support to gain readiness for taking it one day at a time, knowing you’re not alone. (Captions included on all sessions in this series.) | | |
