Last year I ventured into an improvised performance using drawing and dance with a view to exploring a new model for the frieze SKINT (info)

Following the performance I proposed several workshops designed for the participants to explore physical and gestural freedom with charcoal, graphite and different materials including cardboard.

Cardboard is often an insulator for people living on the streets and I decided to appropriate some of these cardboard experiments by painting and writing poetic slogans over them.

The phrases were extracted from personal freewrites and make references to the theme of SKINT and society as I perceive it.

I have produced about 50 in various sizes so far. Infinite possibilities remain...
