UPCOMING EVENTS

Career Workshops

January 2022

The New Year will bring more exciting and helpful MuseumExpert.org offerings. The volunteer team is working now to schedule a multi-week program of online workshops to follow up on the success of the November webinar with Heather Brod. These activities will be available at no cost to MuseumExpert.org members and will be led by two new volunteers—experts in nonprofit HR and professional career coaching—Alexis Klein and Rebekah Harding.

The program’s weekly modules will be guided by the framework of design-thinking principles, loosely based on the approach outlined in the book Designing Your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans. Through self-reflection prompts, small-group conversations, and online discussions, participants will support each other in conceptualizing their unique paths forward. We will provide resources and tools to guide the weekly activities and conversations. Participants will benefit from the program with a weekly commitment of two to three hours. Please complete this brief form to let us know if you are interested in participating, and we will follow up with more details in the coming weeks!
