Thank you everyone who stopped by our table at the Deerfield Winter Market!
It was wonderful meeting so many neighbors and pottery enthusiasts this past weekend!
Turn out was great, weather was beautiful, and the support and encouragement from those in attendance was powerfully overwhelming (in a good way). Thank you, thank you, thank you--I feel so lucky to be able to continue to provide immersive pottery lessons and classes, as well as handcrafted, one of a kind items, to our community--a dream come true!
Looking ahead...
We are currently in the process of putting together our calendar for 2022, so if there's something you'd like to see let us know soon! Also new for 2022, Molly will be returning to her studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago full time in January, and will sadly be leaving her role as our studio intern. I'm hoping she'll come back to do more workshops, and visit us from time to time! There is still a little room in her upcoming Card Making Workshops--see below for more details and get a chance to work with her if you have not already, she's one in a million!
This weekend I will be interviewing two new prospective SAIC interns (yes, that's how many it will take to even begin to fill Molly's shoes!!!). If you know any hardworking young people who are interested in apprenticing/interning, feel free to send them my way or have them fill out my Internship Application online. The more the merrier, and it's a lot of work to run a studio! This is a very unique learning opportunity for just the right person (or persons)...so help spread the word!
We will miss you Molly!
