Hi BQ sisters! May can be a whirlwind for busy mommas. Hope you're hanging in there with all the end-of-year activities! I'm taking advantage of the quiet interludes when I can. May flowers are kicking into high gear. My climatis vine is loving the recent rains and moderate temps we've been having. This is its prime time to show off its blossoms and it is not being shy about it this year. When we moved into this house a few years ago, we relocated the trellis because of another issue and the vine got cut by an overzealous landscaper helper. 🤪 I'm grateful it's now making a strong comeback in its new zone and I greatly enjoy the bonus of having it within view from our kitchen table. This strong pop of color adds a little boost in my day however busy it may be. What inspires you from your window?? |

As we explore some of the "Proverbs 31 Woman" characteristics, I'm amazed at all the details given re: a woman's ability to multi-task with only primitive materials. We have all kinds of modern conveniences and still struggle to cover all the bases! It does help put things into perspective, doesn't it? |

How was your Mother's day? The sentiments of Mother's Day can weave all over the place, can't they? It's a poignant remembrance of mother figures no longer with us, yet we rally to recognize those women still in our sphere. My boys are all back in the nest and their piles of dorm gear are scattered about. We had a fairly quiet weekend, enjoying a slower pace together after a busy week of getting them settled back in. At one point we tried to recreate the photo I shared in the last newsletter because it's such a favorite of mine. Nope! We couldn't keep from laughing as their big bodies tried to squeeze in together and I got tickled with their heavy breathing and brotherly jabs. So... we ended up making a memory filled with loud laughter and muffled snorts, which I'll tuck into my heart, too. What grabbed your heart about Mother's day this year? |

If you'd like to try it, it's available in both journal sizes. I loved the playfulness of this template yet explored the depth it represents. We look forward to seeing what you ladies create with this one! Here's a peek at mine: |

Have you had a chance to play around with the Sisters-in-Christ template? I think it's gotten several of us reflecting on the support systems we have through our bonds of faith. Raini, from Houston, shared this sweet page identifying her own special "cloud of witnesses" after reading in Hebrews: |

As we reflect on who has poured into our spiritual growth, we can also pause to consider what seeds we are planting in those around us... | | |
