Lost Passwords Interfering with Bitcoin Access

Almost everyone who has invested in Bitcoin has a story about losing their passwords and, consequently, their money. The circulating story of a man in San Francisco man with 2 guesses left on his account most likely hits home for other Bitcoin users. As this @DNYUZ article says, bitcoin has, incredibly, been able to continue its upward trend during the global pandemic. This cryptocurrency has no associated company to store passwords. Imagine if Finnovant’s Say-Tec facial and voice biometrics is all that was needed to safely grant access to one’s secure account?

Russia's SolarWinds Hack 

This past December, the largest espionage hack on record occurred when Russia broke into the IT management company, SolarWinds. This breach of data has numerous American victims and will take months to know the full extent of damage. This is so notable, not only because of the severity of the hack, but also due to the way it exposed how ill-prepared the U.S. government was for this type of cyber attack. 

Our CEO, Brian Maw, commented on the espionage saying, "We believe Say-Tec could have thwarted these attackers when they attempted to log in, while unable to bypass the biometric authentication, and could have also provided alerts to network security for invalid login attempts, potentially uncovering this hack much sooner."
