OFFICIAL FEATURE DOCUMENTARY UPDATE - AUGUST 2020

TWO MONTHS ON DIGITAL!

Over the weekend Return To Hardwick reached its two month anniversary on digital platforms and DVD/Blu-ray.  We could have not reached this goal without the support and donations from our veterans and members of the 93rd Bomb Group Association.  We also owe a huge thank you to everyone else that has supported the film over the years.  Far or near, huge interest in the 93rd's story and it's airbase Hardwick has been exciting to see.

You can click the available platforms below.  We currently only have U.S. and Canadian distribution rights.   We hope to have foreign rights in the future.

100% ON ROTTEN TOMATOES

So the dust has settled and we received some top notch reviews from many different media outlets for Return To Hardwick.  One of the best ways to see some of the reviews is by going to Rotten Tomatoes.  The website has always been a great resource for film and television reviews.  The best thing is - they have accumulated all of the reviews in one place.  You can also write a review yourself - just go to our Rotten Tomatoes page!  Writing a review helps other people decide to watch - scroll to the "Rate & Review" section to start.

HISTORY CHANNEL ARTICLE

Last month we were lucky enough to have History Channel profile the release of  Return To Hardwick and the infamous August 1st, 1943 Ploesti raid.  The write-up can be found on the History Channel website.  Big thanks to 93rd member Joe Duran for contributing to the article.  Joe and I (director Michael Sellers) had a great conversation with Sara Pruitt Maldonado, a freelace journalist for History Channel.  Joe's great-uncle, Joseph Avendano flew the Ploesti mission and survived.  He added great insight to a complicated and harrowing mission.

History Channel profiles the film and the August 1st Ploesti raid.

ADDITIONAL CONTENT

Hey! - The best thing about working on a documentary is that you have lots of footage left on the cutting room floor.  My friend Anthony Ventolora was an assistant editor on Return To Hardwick and put together a great featurette about the B-24 Liberator - the bomber flown by the 93rd Bomb Group during WWII.  We hope to edit more additional content soon!

RETURN TO HARDWICK

 SYNOPSIS

The 93rd Bomb Group was arguably the most decorated, most traveled and most effective bomb group of WWII.  Helping to cripple Hitler's Europe from the air, they executed some of the most daring bombing raids of the war.  Along with the group's rich history - sons, daughters and grandchildren travel to England and explore the 93rd's long forgotten airbase - Hardwick.
