PROJECT DESCRIPTION

For this project concept, we focused on the power of intersectionality. We feel that Pride & the BLM movement are both fights for equality and that they strengthen each other.

We want to emphasize, that while this event is a chance to celebrate Gay Pride, it is also a unique opportunity to highlight all the beautiful diversity and intersectionality within the Queer community. We are providing a space for the LGBTQIA+ community (which includes allies) to raise their voice in support of their black brothers and sisters.

Our next Photo Booth Art Series will be centered around the theme of Voting!

Marcus will be taking individual portraits of masked protesters, which will then be turned into a large mosaic collage in support of the BLM movement.
