Tally Ho Chap

Celebrating Two Years

Welcome to a new year at Tally Ho Chap.

This year our aim is to increase our communication with our subscribers and members with a monthly email newsletter.

So without further ado, here is the Tally Ho Chap store news for January 2020.

Introducing Queensland Author Colin Foley...

In December we were privileged to have author, Colin Foley pop into store and offer a great deal to our customers, who purchase his brand new book 'Cut Off'. Colin will personally inscribe and sign your book for you.

Col has written a great blog post at Tally Ho Chap 'The Home Front' outlining some of his inspirations in writing this account of a young soldier struggle through the  Vietnam War and coming to grips in returning home. You can read this fascinating post here.

I have been gripped in reading this book over the Xmas break and highly recommend it.

THE GREAT WAR

January's Tally Ho Chap Special Military Collection is based on the First World War.

With the new movie '1917' been released this month, there is a renewed interest in this 'Great War'. One that was revolutionary in its conduct and global in its consequences.

We have a fantastic collection of books with some very rare records of this War to end all Wars.

Discover an amazing story about a forgotten hero in 'The Last P.O.W.'

The Last P.O.W. (Part 1: The Molding of a Ranger)

This is a story about a man that you wouldn't have had heard of before and in fact if you go to this man's grave site in Saint Josephs Cemetery, Chester, Middlesex County, Connecticut in the U.S.A. its barely visible in the overgrown grass that surrounds it.
