Shots in, sun's out, masks... off? Plus, a column about remote work and a first look at new cards. Hello! There's a shift in the air, right? At least here in NYC. Not only in the weather, but in our lives. Now that many of my friends are vaccinated, I've had a lot more social plans than normal. Plus, the CDC relaxed guidelines on outdoor mask-wearing for vaccinated people, so I had to draw a doodle about it based on my reaction and what I've been seeing outside. I've been saying this for a while, but people are really starting to talk about going back to the office. See my doodle and blog post about it. If you missed it from last week, see my final Passover story video, now on YouTube! And, I have new card ideas for specific circumstances and would love your feedback. Enjoy! If you're new to Danielle in Doodles, welcome! I publish this newsletter of my latest doodles every Sunday, and you can see archives here. |

8 types of people react to new CDC mask guidelines outside |

For this doodle, I've been observing people's behavior. I'm cautiously optimistic, watching what everyone else is doing, and ready for lipstick! I took out my lipstick for the first time in months this week. And I ran for a bit without a mask in a non-crowded area (off but on my person!), it felt great. A little closer to freedom. |

[COLUMN] Work Disrupted: Don’t Make Me Go Back to the Office! |
I'm back writing my column for Disruptive Technologists. This one is about work from home trends, featuring my doodle, "8 excuses to avoid going back to the office." Here's a preview, read the whole blog post here. I’ve gotten pretty comfortable working from home for the past year. But, with more people getting the vaccine, it seems like there is an end in sight to COVID-19 taking over our lives. This means many of us might be called back to the office soon. Here are the latest stats on work trends and my cartoon excuses to work from home forever. A lot of people like working from home Over half of employees want to be remote at least three days a week even after COVID-19 concerns lessen, according to a PwC survey published earlier this year. And 83% of employers surveyed said shifting to remote work has been successful for their company. Disruptive Technologists, Inc. - a nonprofit Registered/Trademarked: Disruptive Technologists® Inc. Final 'How I Created the Haggadah' video is live! |
If you missed it last week, here it is again. I finally, FINALLY, finished the video telling the story of how I put together my Passover program. If you watched last week, this is the same thing, but with the finishing touches — background music, some captions, and more. It's 10 minutes but I promise it's enjoyable! |

New card ideas for plastic surgery! |
We all probably know someone who has had one of these procedures... but, CVS and the Hallmark store don't necessarily sell cards for specific surgeries. So I sketched some. What do you think? I'm not sure about the caption for #1. |
