August 2019 - Newsletter

Moving in life

Since July I have been living in Lelystad-Haven and the last few months were very hectic with so many changes in my life and also hard physical work in the new house. This is why it took longer than expected to send a newsletter.
I am grateful for the opportunity to build up something new, in spite of the challenges that any change may bring.

As concerns my professional life, I will keep offering my services in Amsterdam, mainly during the weekends in Amsterdam Oost and from September I will start a new adventure in the Yoga Studio De Zonnecirkel where there is a lovely massage therapy and coaching room waiting for you!

Ceremony Leader

Monday 19th August I will have the pleasure to facilitate the Ecstatic Dance for the first time in the Netherlands.

I had the same experience in Torino (Italy) but I am excited and nervous to guide an international group to become more aware of their bodies, sensations and connection with the others.

If you never experience the feeling of dancing bare feet and without talking, just join me in this  event in Amsterdam Oost.

Dance Expedition

As I truly believe that Conscious Dance can unwind old patterns, train the nervous system and connecting myself to "ME" as whole, I look forward to join the fourth session of an inspiring workshop. The connection within the group and with the two teachers allows me to have also fun when I dance: a pure bliss of joy!

If you like to join and dance with me too, check  the official Conscious-Dance page event to get more information and register yourself.

In my personal life I dedicate some time to do some volunteer jobs too.

Few months ago I started with Empower Amsterdam to offer coaching sessions to unemployed people who struggle to find their way in life and this morning I had my first day at the animal shelter in Lelystad (Stichting Zuiderzee Zwerfdieren).

This animal shelter is quite different from the one where I used to work in Den Haag. Here the cats struggle to trust the people, they feel quite scared and suspicious and they do not get close to get some affection. A period of "therapy" is required to build up a relationship with the humans. This experience reminds me once again how much the presence and love are important to respect the boundaries and how the patience is the key to avoid to push, in this case, the cat towards what I want which is an interaction.

Doing something just to help is a powerful way to find meaning in life and when you offer your love and time, this comes back to you in other forms. There are many opportunities to help each other, just choose one and notice how it makes you feel.

Have a wonderful day!
