Since the Oct 7th events, I've had to skip 2 newsletters due to intensive volunteering in the war effort. When I'll have time maybe I'll write about it, as it was an inspiring lesson in emergency time logistics & crisis management. On that note - I invite you to connect on Linkedin to get a hold of the depth evil can reach to. Meanwhile - knowing this geo-political chapter in the book of mediterranean relationships will be longer than expected, and coupled with the fact that it's the last day of 2023 - let's talk about how all of this affects your future: |

If you remember, on the August Newsletter I've talked with you about the declining Dollar, the rising BRICS currency, and the race to gold & crypto that was about to come. You can check the prices since then and see I was not wrong. Same goes for the URNM ETF, which I've wrote about last July on Linkedin. |

In each of the trading days during those months, no matter what the main 4 indexes (including VIX) did - my average ROI did better. |
|
|
The last 2 months in the stocks markets we're tumultuous, ending the year with a nearly 14% ROI on the NASDAQ and with almost 24% ROI on the S&P. Thank G-D, my personal portfolio beat those 2 indicators only with stocks picking. Adding the deposits, bonds and few ETFs I hold - and the ROI is passed 32% | | |

So what can we learn from this? 1. In a market of giants, the retail investor has an edge opting for a selective approach instead of a generalised composite index portfolio. The 2nd wave of AI hype is round the corner, so you should be very selective and cautious in your picking. Crypto bullish market is ready to gear up, as the next Bitcoin halving event is approaching. Traditional investments are nice, but must be seasoned with some future facing hedges. Right now, if you look at global central banks transactions - it seems the future is looking for a safe haven in precious metals & energy. As the fed will likely start to pivot and cut rates into 2024, bonds' ROI will go down, which will spark up their prices.
Wishing you all a happy 2024, with great gains, so you could travel freely even when you're retired. |
