Country Comparison Tool
Geert Hofstede, assisted by others, came up with six basic issues that society needs to come to term with in order to organize itself. These are called dimensions of culture. Each of them has been expressed on a scale that runs roughly from 0 to 100. This Country Comparison Tool allows you to select countries and learn how they compare across the six dimensions of culture. It's a great way to see how culture shapes our understanding on the world, each other, and ourselves! The image below compares Turkey and the US. Click here to access the Country Comparison Tool.

Quote
"I do not want my house to be walled in on all sides and my windows to be stuffed. I want the culture of all lands to be blown about my house as freely as possible. But I refuse to be blown off my feet by any."
-Mahatma Gandhi
