It's Global Recycling Day!

REDUCE REUSE RECYCLE! Let's take care of our planet!

Happy Friday Friends!!!

Happy Newsletter Friday! Welcome to those of you who are reading this for the first time and welcome back to those returning! Let's kick it off with the anticipated poll results!

THE POLL RESULTS:

If I learned anything in my 23 years living on this planet is that "Food is Fuel." That would be my first Life Lesson. Food does a lot for use and one thing it does is comfort us. We find comfort in food frequently so... what is the best comfort food!?

For me, cheese is a top contender... I mean cheese SLAPS. Mac and Cheese also appeared to be a fan favorite but those weren't our winners. What was the winner? It was a classic Jewish dish! MATZAH BALL SOUP! A warm bowl of matzah ball soup just hits different and start slowly getting supplies to make some because Passover is right around the corner!

IN THE HEADLINES:

Are you tired of all the constant headlines popping up on your phones? Does the news sometimes ruin the day? Here is a place where you can find uplifting, fun, and good news from people in our own community. Keep looking to your own life headlines for a smile!

Featured Headlines:

  • "I signed on a new apartment!"
    • Helen - NY

  • "I accidentally brought pepper spray to court for work and much to my dismay the police officer informed me that it was illegal to possess as she removed it from my key chain."
    • Alex J - NY

  • "I started a new job!"
    • Alex - NY

Helen, I know this apartment hint was a whirlwind (for many) and hyped you (we) found something! Also, Alex, that is a wild story! We all learned something new today but, it is something we won't forget! Finally, I did start a new job (again lol) but I am really enjoying it!!

Our news might be small but, it was good news! Want to be featured "In the Headlines"? Share your breaking news here to have the chance to be in the next newsletter!

OTHER NEWS:

DID YOU HEAR THE NEWS?! The Senate agreed to keep time in Daylights Savings Time! We are one step closer to having the sun out a little later all year long. Honestly what a whirlwind because falling back and springing forward has terribly chaotic energy. This might not be in effect until 2023 but, it might happen nonetheless. At least for now, the sun is setting after 7pm again!!

Spring starts SUNDAY! It would be silly of me to not mention this because spring is a big time for a fresh start. To be honest, January shouldn't be the new year because spring really feels like the new year. Everything is coming out of hibernation, life is blooming, and there is a new feeling in the air. Spring marks the end of the hardest part of the year and to me, I always feel accomplished. March is a little tricky as it is a transitional month (and we know transitions are hard...).  But y'all, we made it!

Thank you for reading this and if this brought a smile to your day, feel free to forward it on and spread the cheer! Don't forget the impact a little kindness can have. It can create lots of change!

'Til next time,

...alex is out
