Attention 4-H PEI

Senior Members!

 

The nominations committee is seeking interest from Senior Members who would like to serve a 1 year term on the board of directors. This involves a meeting every other month for approximately 3 hours.


If you are interested in being considered for this positing email pei4h@pei4h.ca before 5 pm Wednesday, February 19th, 2020.

The 2020 PEI 4-H Council Annual General Meeting and Banquet are coming up on Saturday, February 22nd. Voting Delegate packages and Banquet Invitations have been sent. Everyone is welcome to attend the AGM. The Banquet is by invitation only.

Chaperones Required!

 

4-H PEI is looking for two Volunteer Chaperones for upcoming Atlantic Intermediate Member Conference in Debert, NS. This event will be held from March 27 - 29.

 

If you are interested please contact pei4h@pei4h.ca as soon as you can!

March Club Meetings

 

This is a notice for all 4-H members, volunteers, families and community partners. At the upcoming AGM each Overall Club Leader will be given a package about some recommended updates to the 4-H PEI Program. Each Overall Leader will be bringing this information to a club meeting in March  to have an open conversation and review these suggestions. We ask that you all do your very best to attend these meetings and share your thoughts. More details to come.

Attention Beef & Poultry Project 
Leaders, Members, & Friends

 

4-H PEI is working to update our Beef Project and Poultry Project, but we need your help! To get started we are hoping for input from leaders, members, alumni, and industry specialists regarding what is working with the current projects, and what needs to be tweaked and added.

 

To do this we are holding short meetings for each project on

Wednesday, February 26th in room 234 of the Royalty Centre,

40 Enman Cres., Charlottetown.

 

6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.—Poultry Meeting

8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.—Beef Meeting

 

Please note: at this point we are focusing on project content and resources (not rules/classes at shows).

If you cannot make the meeting but would still like to contribute your input you are strongly encouraged to email your suggestions to Jackie before the meeting.

We ask if you are considering doing or assigning an alternate communications please note that the member must request and submit an 'Alternate Communications Request Form' from their regional Specialist.

4-H Canada National Opportunities

Commit to Kids Volunteer Training

 

The Commit to Kids online training has been developed by the Canadian Centre for Child Protection for organizations like 4-H.

All 4-H volunteers, leaders and staff must complete the Commit to Kids online training as part of their screening process.
