We reached our goal!

Thanks to your gifts and generosity we raised more than $8,000 in our very first fundraising campaign. The School Garden Doctor was also awarded permanent status as a Global Giving partner!

Before I  get back to the work of inspiring young women and girls to pursue science careers, I'd like to extend our collective gratitude.

Thank you from bottom of the Dirt Girls' hearts!

The preset goal for the Global Giving Accelerator was to raise $5,000 from 40 unique donors in three weeks. Because we surpassed the goal, our project will remain active. Not bad for our first crowdfunding campaign! If you know an organization that might benefit from becoming a Global Giving partner, please share the link below.

Last week in the garden, the Dirt Girls collected stones, twigs, flowers, and seeds to design the custom thank you message above. They are very excited to take field trips and invite mentor apprentices to visit our garden. We're currently seeking two new sites for expanding Dirt Girls in 2020.
