A New Yoga Class, 3 Workshops & More to Look Forward To

Dear you,
 

The month of February can be an opportunity to invite tranquillity, self-discovery, and deeper heart-centered connections. As such, our movement practice can be the tool to give us space to pause, turn inward and be present with ourselves and others. Mindful movements reconcile our mind with our body, our breath, our essence. At the Well, we aim to offer you many different ways to do just that. That is why we are continuing to offer pilates, essentrics and a great range of yoga classes and workshops in February. Read all about it here!

FEBRUARY SCHEDULE

NEW THIS MONTH:

  • NEW CLASS ALERT! Stéphanie Théorêt will be teaching a Hatha Flow on Tuesdays at 5:30 pm. This class can also be suitable for pregnant people!

  • Megan continues to teach floor pilates on Mondays at 5 pm and Wednesdays at 8:30 am.

    • Exceptionally, there will be no chair yoga on Wednesday, February 7, as Cindy will be enjoying a well-deserved vacation ☀️

  • As Jaime will also be enjoying time under the sun from the 7 to the 14, the Feb. 13 Gentle Yoga class will be postponed to Friday, February 16 at 8 am. Megan and Valérie will be replacing her for her slow flow and fire flow respectively.

  • Over 6 weeks and starting February 17, Nikki Moar will be hosting a workshop to help break bad habits. Read more below! 👇

  • We've added an earlier class on some Saturdays. Early birds, check it out!

  • Sangha Chats will be held on Sunday, February 4 & 18, after Ashtanga Exploration.

  • The FREE Ashtanga Full Led Primary will be on Saturday, February 24 at 8 am.

Harmony, Expression and Soulful Strokes

Have you ever had the urge to start a creative project but not know where to begin? Or maybe you have a writing piece, a painting, or a knitting project that you started and can’t seem to pick up again?

 

If this is you, you are not alone! Let us let you in on a little secret…we are all creative beings. The challenge often arises in being able to access and nourish your creativity. This is why we are so excited to be offering a Reiki-infused creativity workshop with Emilie Almontes!

Breaking Bad Habits

with Nikki Moar
 

Scrolling on social media, chips, screentime, more chips, smoking, drinking, more chips, chocolate.

 

Sounds good doesn't it? In moderation, it’s all good. But we tend to go overboard. 

Are you having trouble keeping up with your New Year’s resolutions? You’re not alone! We all have bad habits that seem impossible to break. We have the best intentions in the world, but the truth is, our willpower is limited. In this workshop series, you will learn how to reach your goals by tapping into your imagination using relaxation, visualization and hypnosis. 

 

 

In this class series, you will learn how these bad habits are responding to your needs, which is why they’re so hard to break. Discover ways to maximize the potential of your brain to break bad habits by accessing your imagination. Your subconscious can’t tell the difference between reality and imagination. Therefore, your brain can benefit from relaxation and visualization techniques to produce the 4 natural feel-good hormones; serotonin, dopamine, endorphins and oxytocin. You will develop the ability to replace your bad habits with new, healthy options. Get your body moving, get hydrated, get more sleep, get healthy food, and get out of your head and into your body!

The Ashtanga Standing Sequence

Discover and deepen your understanding of the standing asanas of the Ashtanga Primary series in this 2-hour dynamic workshop.​

 

 Focused on the standing sequence of the primary series, we will dissect each posture, offering in-depth insights into alignment and the unique properties of every pose. This immersive experience goes beyond theoretical discussions, as we will practice each asana in-depth. You can expect collaborative discussions and practical applications.
 

Elevate your understanding and practice of Ashtanga Yoga.

I hope you are soft with your soul and tough with your life. I hope you can hold yourself naked at night and rise the next day to demand the world give you what you need. I hope that you can find the balance between what you must allow and what you must pursue. I hope you learn that life is a dance between what is and what will be, our highest selves and lowest impulses. I hope you will not be intimidated by all that is ahead. I hope you will know that strong minds and soft hearts often exist within the most beautiful souls.
