REDC is pleased to welcome Liz Salas to the team as a Business Advisor. Liz is responsible for counseling current and prospective REDC clients. Her advising includes business planning, financial planning, and marketing plan development. Liz holds her B.S. in Corporate Finance and M.S. in Applied Economics from Southern New Hampshire University. She is a NH native and prides herself on staying engaged in and around her community. She is a curious soul and voracious reader. She lives in the woods of southern New Hampshire with her children, dog, cat, and chickens. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, the beach, and meditating. Welcome, Liz! |

On June 1st, REDC's Graphic Designer & Design Advisor Laura Harper Lake graduated in Leadership New Hampshire's Class of 2023. We are proud of this accomplishment and know the impact of the program will serve her well as she strives to help make NH a better place. Along with creating graphic design and managing REDC’s marketing and website, Laura also works with small business owners to develop their branding, graphic design, website design, and marketing.
Leadership New Hampshire is a nonprofit organization with a mission of building a community of informed and engaged leaders. This year's program began with a retreat in September of last year and finished in June at a graduation at LaBelle Winery in Amherst, NH. REDC President Laurel Adams graduated from the Leadership NH Class of 2016 and found it to be a rewarding and empowering experience.
When not working at REDC, Laura is an interdisciplinary artist who is a small business owner under the moniker Artful Harper Studios, at the Exeter Stations Studios in Exeter, NH. Laura is also the co-founder, co-chair, and co-host of Creative Guts, a nonprofit and weekly podcast with a mission to awaken creativity within people of all ages by curating an environment for connection, collaboration, and the opportunity for gutsy creatives to share their stories with the world. Laura earned a B.A. in Studio Art from Chester College of New England in 2007.

Treeline Outfitters REDC is pleased to welcome Treeline Outfitters as a new loan client. Set to open later this year, Treeline Outfitters will use the financing to assist with startup costs. Treeline Outfitters is a startup retail store and taproom, based in Portsmouth, NH. Their mission is “to foster an inclusive community of outdoor enthusiasts to grow a network of people, brands, and institutions dedicated to sustainability, environmental stewardship, and local economic impact.” | | |

REDC is thrilled to announce Rafael and his business CHW4EVER has reached full funding on his Kiva project! Rafael is a BIPOC Community Health Worker, who brings social determinants of health services to his community. CHW4EVER received $3,500 from 78 lenders through KIVA's online crowdfunding platform. This funding will allow him to further expand his business and assist more in the community. Learn more about this particular Kiva loan here.
