Quarter One Newsletter

As the 2022-2023 FFA season begins, The Tulelake FFA chapter's last couple of months have been jammed packed. See below to read about the Officer Retreat, Tulelake-Butte Valley Fair, The Fall Tri-Tip Fundraiser, and The Opening and Closing Sectional Contest.

Officer Retreat

The Officer retreat was full of laughs and many decisions! Including dates, fundraisers, monthly activities, and this year's theme. After lots of thinking the 2022-2023 Officer team has decided on the theme "Open The Gate" encouraging all members to take action in their lives and take the opportunities that arise especially in FFA. The 2022-2023 Officer team is so excited to see what this year holds for their members and to see how each of them will Open The Gate in their lives.

Jackpot Fundraiser

The Fundraising to support the chapter started way before school started and thanks to these member we did great! Our first fundraiser was this June at the Stateline Spectacular Jackpot selling breakfast burritos and Tri-Tip sandwiches.

Chapter Officer Leadership Conference

COLC was a great way for this year's officer team to do more bonding and learn great ways to benefit the chapter. They learned about their leadership roles as well as some new skills such as new features on AET. They also competed in the skit contest where they had to act a scene out of Nemo though they believed it was rigged and did not win it was lots of fun!
