"Healthy Relationships Week is extremely important to the ladies of Alpha Chi Omega. Our main goal is to prevent domestic violence and sexual assault, and promoting healthy relationships is a huge part of that! This year our focus on Healthy Relationships Week is to focus on healthy communication. Being open and honest is a huge cornerstone of every healthy relationship. We want to challenge everyone this week to evaluate their relationships with family, friends, or romantic partners to see where you can improve communication and therefore acquire a healthier relationship!"

Sigma Theta Psi Philanthropy Event

February 14, 2020

"The Young Survivors Coalition is an organization that connects, represents and supports the youth who are affected by breast cancer. Breast Cancer is the leading cancer-associated deaths with women and men under 40. YSC works with this youth to inform breast cancer patients of their options and inform others of protection and early symptoms. YSC aids the youth by making sure they are aware of their body, aware of the signs and aware of the steps to take if these symptoms are seen. Survivors are further provided with resources that promote a healthy lifestyle. They host meet and greets with fellow survivors, work with partnering organizations to host yoga days, and they sponsor Ride in Tour de Pink which furthers their endeavors to represent breast cancer awareness and breast cancer survivors. YSC does much for those affected by breast cancer and it is in Sigma Theta Psi's vision to help keep this mission thriving."

Positive Panhellenic Language

Reminder to be using positive language when referring to Fraternity and Sorority Life, especially with our New Member Classes! For example, we should never refer to new members as pledges/babies or even use the term "pledge class". "New member class" is a perfect phrase to use for our new members.
