• One of two women who successfully achieved the rank of 5th degree black belt in the style of karate called Kimura Shukokai International (KSI). Our focus is on body dynamics to create maximum speed and power.
• Actively practicing and involved in KSI for over 35 years.
• 6x International KSI Kumite (fighting) champion in the women’s heavyweight division; won
numerous national titles too.
• Selected as USA women’s team coach overseeing both the women’s and girls’ teams.

team fighting and placing in the Top 3 numerous times in both team Kata and Kumite.
• Started teaching ZOOM Karaté classes during COVID-19 for men and women to practice self-care.
• Promoted 100% of students to their next rank, with new students joining in the beginning of the year.

✦ Held a successful fundraiser In May 2020 from my online karate class to raise money for First Responders as a way of continuing to give back to the community. The goal was to raise enough money to provide meals to one of the busiest hospitals in NYC during COVID-19. However, we more than doubled our fundraising goal. As a result, we provided meals to two NYC hospitals, two NJ hospitals and a children's foundation. It’s our way of saying "Thank You" to our first responders for all they continue to do during this pandemic. Show less
