Happy Newsletter Friday! Welcome to those of you who are reading this for the first time and welcome back to those returning! 

THE POLL RESULTS: 

Broadway is slowly coming back and so we had to see what the best long-running show is! This isn't an easy thing to pick because there are so many fun shows. It is clear that there are a fair amount of great options because we had a FOUR WAY TIE!! Oh my god, I know right?! Insanity!! Well, you must be wondering what shows tied for first.

The shows that are tied are Chicago, Hamiton, Phantom of the Opera, and The Lion King. I guess I have to pick a winner and this time I chose it through a random name generator to find the most unbiased way to pick the winner. The winner is CHICAGO!! If you know me, I don't love Chicago so you have to believe the random name generator...

Y'ALL IT IS AUGUST!! We are in Leo season right now and don't you feel that Leo energy?! I feel that energy for sure. It is a wild ride in Leo season and I am here for that ride. But August is also home to dear old Virgo season (the season of me!) and we know I am excited for that ish. Astrology is a fun lil' thing and if you don't understand start by downloading some fun apps like Co-Star or Pattern. They are fun and provide a little something something to the everyday. Just thought I'd share!

I have a new creative project in the works and I can't wait to share it with the world! It is going to come around the end of summer (remember summer ends Sept. 22). I am having a lot of fun developing this project and am beyond excited to see where this takes me. Stay tuned and stay happy, healthy, and heroic (I wanted one more "h" word so this is what we got)!

• The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

What I have read these past few weeks:

• The Checklist Manifesto by Atul Gawande
  • I thought this was an interesting read and had really cool insights. In the end checklists rock! Some parts were dry and others very intriguing. (3.75 stars)
• The Velvet Rage by Alan Downs, PhD
  • This book was an easy and very interesting read. I felt like I could relate to a lot of it while other parts did not so much. It was cool to hear different perspectives and be able to relate to the material. (4 stars)
