The Week's Outlook

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Birthday, America!  Gaining independence is a fresh start. This holiday gives us an opportunity to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy and to also consider what we need to liberate ourselves from. What have we outgrown? What have we already processed? What is no longer feasible?

Liberation can come in many forms - physical, energetic, emotional and mental.  Every moment is a fresh start to become liberated from things that bind us physically, like tension and inflexibility. We can free ourselves up energetically by devoting energy to the things that move us forward and not letting the past or the future get a lion's share of our attention. We can free ourselves up emotionally by feeling mood and feelings, but not trying to hold onto them or over process them. Same with thoughts. We can liberate ourselves from the constant chewing on old thoughts by doing new things!

Liberation feels like a loss through letting go, but it's also like acquiring new space and freedom for change.

In my classes this week we will let go and create space for what we need, remembering that life is about constant change and flow.

Speaking of flow, we are flowing to the new website, so it is time to let go of mind body fitness yoga and move to Andrea Dyer Yoga.  This will be the last newsletter from the MBFY mailing list. All further communications from me will be from the new site.  The website currently houses a few students with passes that finish up in the next couple of weeks - all new class bookings are on the new site.

So I'm asking those who want to flow on with me in my classes and programs, or at least to stay in touch, to subscribe to Andrea Dyer Yoga to stay connected. Please take 5 seconds to click the link below and enter your email address for future communications.

NEW MINI POP UPS

Tend to your fire!

Book Live Streams and In Person Classes

In July, I am offering a mini-meditation camp every Tuesday at noon. Tuesdays are a great day for tuning in and finding your calm center. Meditation is a practice of returning to your seat as an observer over and over again. We'll arrive and do a few simple practices that will bring focus to our awareness and then we'll sit and practice being present and returning to that presence as our minds stray.  If you are interested in joining me for this Live Stream Mini Camp, click this button and I'll get you registered. This mini camp has a slide scale for payment.

Meditation Summer Camp

Keep the heat of the summer in check with this mini-restorative session. In just 30 minutes we can calm and cool our bodies and minds with sanctioned, supported rest.

This mini session is a great way to wind down a manic Monday and is perfect following Monday Flow.  If you are interested in joining me for this Dog Days Chill Out mini-series, click this button and I'll get you registered.  This mini series has a slide scale for payment.
