Thanks to Women's Interfaith Network for inviting us to run a creative workshop around the theme of 'keeping faith', exploring the ways we keep faith in ourselves, in our communities and in the world around us despite our daily challenges.
Using collage and drawing, we planted individual seeds of hope that were then added to a bigger collective garden of hope, where we could see our shared commonalities. It's always a pleasure for our group to come together with other community groups to explore such key topics, and to continue to learn and share cross-culturally.
💪Inter-University Migration Network💪
Thanks to Middlesex University for hosting Inter-University Migration Network conference in partnership with Anglia Ruskin University and University of Greenwich, who invited us to perform our forum theatre piece on migrant women’s access to health services.
Another platform to share our experiences to raise awareness and open up important dialogue.
🪴Planting a Tree at Plumcroft Primary School 🪴
We decided to mark our 8th anniversary by donating a cherry blossom tree to Plumcroft Primary School as a thank you for the great collaboration we are having and as a symbol of our hopes and wishes for the new generations and for our local community.
May we all grow together strong, tall and beautiful with this tree always guided by these words:
"Nurture love, speak the truth, seeking justice and freedom".
🌟 Creatively Together First Trip 🌟
We had our first trip out as part of our Creatively Together project to Tower Gateway to explore a new area of London and for our team to see St Katherine Dock for the first time. Thanks to our wonderful DLR Community Ambassador Jacqueline and to Groundwork & KeolisAmey Docklands Community Grant for supporting this project.
