My goal is to provide a custom, boutique experience to all families attending the schools who have chosen Nina Ferentinos Photography to photograph their students.
My service is personal and professional. Unlike large, corporate photography operations, I only take on a few, selected schools so that I can provide superior customer service and artistic images.
My aim is to capture the essence of the children in front of the camera. I will never force a smile. No awkward poses or faces, just the authentic child. The results are genuine and timeless portraits that are far from the traditional cheesy photos we have become accustomed to with bright flashes and unflattering, busy backgrounds.
I provide a light and fun experience for your children and take pride in providing an environment where the kids can relax and be themselves, naturally.

Picture Day
WHAT SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?

I am a completely online operation.
Families are linked to online ordering galleries. Galleries are set up according to grade, homeroom, advisory, or whatever grouping that makes sense for the school. Prints are ordered online and delivered directly to the school or co-op administrator for distribution to the students. -
Each child will be provided a minimum of 2 images.
Images are presented in both color and black & white. The family may choose the photos they want to be printed, as opposed to having a pose chosen for them. -
Boutique product choices such as canvas gallery wraps and digital images for future printing and archiving.

A detailed Instruction describing all ordering procedures and shooting day preparation will be provided to each school to be distributed to families prior to photo day.

I provide all equipment and personnel needed for photo day.

I also provide the school with all high-resolution digital files to use for yearbooks, website, school advertising, school ID's, or however the school wishes to use the images.

I handle all questions from parents and families about ordering and products.

I take staff photos.

Where applicable, I take group photos for each class.

I also take sibling photos if the school allows it.

There is no cost for the school to book. In fact, 10% of profits are donated right back to the school!
WHAT TIME OF YEAR DO YOU CONDUCT THESE FINE ART SCHOOL PHOTO SHOOTS?
I work with each individual school to schedule shoots at any time during the academic year. September and March are the most popular times for schools to schedule picture days, so book early to ensure your preferred date is available.
HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
I have provided this service to schools as small as 60 kids and schools with as many as 1,000 children.
I have worked with thousands of kids ages 1-18 since I first started offering Fine Art School Photography a few years back.
WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM THE SCHOOL?

Class rosters in an Excel spreadsheet or .csv at least 30 days prior to picture day.

Send e-mail to parents with notification of picture days and ordering dates.

A cleared space of approximately 10x10 feet to set up the backdrop and lighting. Must have at least one electrical outlet.

An administrator to organize and call for classes to keep a fast flow.

To distribute orders to students/parents within 1 week of delivery.
ARE THESE IMAGES EXPENSIVE?
I have competitive rates, there is no minimum order and nothing is due upfront. I offer a variety of collections and a-la-carte products to fit every family’s desires and financial constraints.

HOW WILL PARENTS VIEW/ORDER PHOTOS?

WHAT ABOUT PRIVACY CONCERNS?
Each school's gallery is hosted on a private, unlinked, and uncrawled site. Parents who may have additional concerns about privacy will be given the option to opt-in to an individual private and password-protected gallery for their children. (Opt-ins will be submitted by the parent in writing before picture day.)
HOW DO YOU HANDLE MAKEUP's/RETAKES?
Most schools choose to schedule pictures over multiple days, with the last day being reserved for staff, makeup's, and/or class pictures. If a student can not attend the retake day, additional retakes are only available by appointment in my studio. The sitting fee is $25.00.
HOW DO WE GET FINE ART PORTRAITS IN OUR SCHOOL?
