I was recently interviewed by an online magazine, and one question really stood out: “How do you know whether to keep going or to give up?” Even after the interview ended, I found myself reflecting on it. How do we know when to keep pushing forward or when to pivot? After much thought, I kept returning to three key traits: persistence, tenacity, and discipline. These are the pillars of progress. They propel you forward, ensuring your long-term goals remain intact despite inevitable obstacles. With these traits, you know you’ve done everything in your power to achieve your vision, and even with the bumps in the road, things will eventually fall into place as they’re meant to.

That said, there are moments when progress stalls, no matter how hard you push. During these times, recognizing the need to pivot is crucial—not as a sign of failure, but as a redirection. Adaptability becomes the quiet force behind every success. Sometimes, the best move is to learn from the roadblocks, adjust your course, and embrace a new path forward.

So, my friend, will you keep going, or is it time to pivot? Are you holding on because you’re truly on the right path, or is it time to adjust and evolve? Be persistent. Be tenacious. Have discipline. And sprinkle it all with courage. I promise you’ll always move forward in the direction you're meant to and achieve more than you imagined.
