It's been over a decade since I read Alain de Botton's Architecture of Happiness. I was curious to see if my own opinions had changed and if his words still resonated...
I'm finding this book feels like returning home, back to my days as an eager architecture student, chuckling at clever insights and fascinating historical trivia.
I had forgotten how much I enjoy de Botton's writing - he does his homework and I truly enjoy his sense of humour. Now I'm considering revisiting some other favourites: Status Anxiety and The Art of Travel!
