What’s a POJ Circle? It’s a group of people who act as an outreach arm of POJ, meeting once a month for 6 months. The objective is to create joy for those experiencing hardship. The circle chooses an organization with whom to collaborate, or targets a population to serve directly. We use the "Joy Cycle", described above, to guide the 6 month journey. So grab 8-10 friends, acquaintances, or co-workers and create a POJ Circle today. You can always join an open POJ Circle individually or in pairs. The paddle community came together for a night of paddle, dinner and drinks at The Country Club. Some dressed as opera stars! Fun was had by all. Proceeds from a basket raffle at the event benefit Power of JOy and its outreach efforts to bring joy to people experiencing hardship. Thank you to all involved! ❤️ |

Our Hiking Thru Loss group has been consistently growing since it first came together almost one year ago. We welcome anyone who is trying to move through a loss & the associated grief. The hikes are a leisurely 2-3 mile walk, scheduled once a month, generally in a local Chagrin Valley park. There is plenty of opportunity for socializing after the hike, as well as outside of the hike. contact Ellen: eluebbers1@gmail.com for more information. |

CLEVELAND FOOD BANK Our next group service date is Thursday, May 18, 3-5 pm at the CFB @ 13815 Coit Rd, Cleveland. We will be assembling packages and repacking donated food for distribution to the community. The Cleveland Food Bank works to ensure everyone in our community has the nutritious food they need every day, and many volunteers are needed to maintain this important goal.
