Hello : WARNING: SNEAK ATTACK THE GREATEST THREAT TO NON-FLUORIDATED COMMUNITIES IS HERE! |
The U.S. Centers For Disease Control (CDC) has partnered with the chemical industry to target 19 million residents in 32,000 small and medium-sized communities across the United States that currently do not add fluoridation chemicals to their public drinking water. |
Using tax dollars, the CDC provided funds to a private business to develop a fluoridation delivery product for water systems serving between 50 and 10,000 people. The widespread sale and promotion of this new product started in January, 2022 throughout the US, Canada, and Australia. The American Dental Association (ADA) has joined the CDC in pushing this new strategy. They are calling it a “game changer” in their efforts to expand fluoridation. This new fluoridation system is simple and cheap (few hundred dollars) and is specifically designed for even the smallest water systems, which could include private systems, or even condo complexes and public schools. They’re calling it the “New Wave Fluoridation System”. It utilizes compacted sodium fluorosilicate in a tablet form designed to dissolve over time in a small amount of water, much like deodorizer tablets used in urinals. |
We have learned that this process started in 2013, when CDC’s Chief Fluoridation Engineer, Kip Duchon, suggested that the CDC help develop a product for small and rural communities. Soon thereafter the CDC announced a Small Business Innovation Research grant opportunity for private business to develop and test the idea. KC Industries, of Mulbery, Florida was awarded two large grants, one to develop the tablets and the other to develop the injection/feeder system. KC Industries is a small chemical manufacturer with a handful of employees. According to their website, “The plant was built by Kaiser Aluminum & Chemical Corporation and began producing Sodium Fluorosilicate in 1957 as a raw material to manufacture aluminum.” KC Industries purchased the facility in 1999 and appears to have focused heavily on a “dry” fluoride drinking water additive. Over the past twenty years, many communities have switched to the less expensive fluorosilicic acid, which is an incredibly dangerous and corrosive liquid. This led to a massive decline in sales of dry additives, and KC Industries’ profits. According to their press release, they were struggling until the CDC’s grant, which they say provided “a new lease on life” for the chemical company. They’re expecting “an immediate return on investment” as communities clamour for the new system. In 2022, DuBois Chemicals started marketing the New Wave Fluoridation System. KC Industry representatives have said that interest in the system has come from around the world—including Canada and Australia. Because it is simple and cheap to implement, they are trying to stay away from public discourse and slide it in through the back door by encouraging prospective customers to make amendments to their budgets—trying to make it an administrative act, so no one really hears about it. The Fluoride Action Network (FAN) will be working to stop this expansion of fluoridation, because our health and the safety of our drinking water depends upon it. Fluoride Free Canada offers their support by stepping up to inform the Canadian population. |

OPPOSING CENSORING BY THE MEDIA About five days before the October, 2021 plebiscite in Calgary, Safe Water Calgary paid thousands of dollars for alternating ads in the Calgary Sun and Calgary Herald. After only three days, the parent company, Postmedia, arbitrarily cancelled the ads with no notice, no excuse, no reasoning or rationale. The ads would have fallen on the weekend prior to the plebiscite and would have made a great impact. We can only assume they cancelled the ads as we were gaining ground. Legal action was necessary to recover the funds paid for the ads that they cancelled. Without accepting any culpability, Postmedia agreed to refund two-thirds...which has finally been received. CHALLENGING THE MEDIA The latest example is an egregious Policy Options article published May 5th, 2022. Our fearless President, Dr. Bob Dickson wrote a rebuttal to the editor. Policy Options responded that that they would not be running a rebuttal or any longer pieces on fluoridation in the near future, suggesting instead that Dr. Dickson write a “Letter to the Editor”, but that there would be no guarantee it would be selected for publication. Dr. Bob responded as follows: “Considering the many errors and unsubstantiated science in your opinion piece and in pursuit of fair and balanced journalism and the democratic process, I’m curious why you would not print an opinion piece with the latest updated science proving neurotoxicity and brain damage in our Canadian children. Thanks for your suggestion of a Letter to the Editor, but a letter after the publication of a major piece that may not get printed doesn’t have anywhere near the cache.” No response has been received to date. ASSISTING ACTIVE CANADIAN GROUPS Representatives from Windsor, Pointe Claire, Toronto, Regina, Calgary attend our meetings to share what they are up to and receive advice from the experts. For example: Calgary has offered its remaining signs and pamphlets from their campaign to Regina. LETTERS TO GOVERNMENT BODIES
In September 2021, Fluoride Free Canada sent a registered letter to Prime Minister Trudeau and all Members of Parliament announcing our launch, outlining the new science, and imploring them to protect Canadian children. Another letter is in the works to an expanded audience. MONITORING THE US COURT CASE AGAINST THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY (EPA) A December 31 update was posted on the homepage of our website indicating that the judge will not rule until the National Toxicology Program has finalized their review of neurotoxicity on the fetus and that this report was due early 2022. There has been an unexplained delay, and the judge has postponed the case until September 20th, 2022. FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (FOI) REQUESTS During the past year, Fluoride Free Canada has been attempting to obtain information under the Freedom of Information Act to flush out and prove the paradox in the government’s handling of fluoridation as outlined in the following chart: |

FLUORIDE FACT The CDC is working to expand fluoridation in small communities throughout the USA, Canada and Australia, by funding the development of a fluoridation delivery product in tablet form for water systems serving between 50 and 10,000 people.
