ʻAHA TŪTŪ 2022 MEMBERSHIP As we approach the end of 2021, we are humbled to announce next yearʻs theme: ‘AHA TŪTŪ 2022. ʻAha Tūtū 2022 will focus on our kuleana (responsibility) to our elders. Although we will continue to serve our varied communities, we aim to educate, connect, and engage our hulu kūpuna (precious elders) and those who support them. PUMPKIN MOCHI We hope you enjoy this family favorite. WARNING! ITʻS ADDICTING! Dry Ingredients (Large Bowl) - 1 box plus ¼ cup mochiko (mochi rice flour)
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ½ tsp cinnamon
Wet Ingredients (Medium Bowl) - 4 eggs (room temperature)
- 1 (29oz) can pumpkin
- 1 (14oz) can condensed milk
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks room temperature)
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift together dry ingredients in a large bowl; blend wet ingredients in a medium bowl. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour mixture into a lightly greased/sprayed 9x13 pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool and cut with a plastic or well-greased knife. A great treat for the family and for sharing with family and friends. |
