Wynyard Quarter is getting new bus services starting 8th July.

Auckland Transport are putting in new bus stops and work on these starts 18th June.

Two new bus services for Wynyard Quarter

 

75 service connecting Remuera Road with Auckland City Hospital, and Midtown to Wynyard Quarter.

20 service connecting St Lukes, Kingsland, Ponsonby with Wynyard Quarter.

Check out the plans for the new bus stops.  Work starts 18th June.

New marina development ready by 2021? 

 

A proposed new marina development, will feature a marine haul out and refit facility, commercial buildings and residential accommodation.

The facility to be known as Site 18 and will be located on the corner of Beaumont and Jellicoe streets. 

This is exciting news for the area.

Upgrades for Daldy & Gaunt

Auckland Transport will shortly begin street and park upgrades in Daldy Street and Gaunt Street. There will be a new linear park and a new neighbourhood park. Work is due to start July 2018.

WQ TMA

WQ TMA has produced its' Strategic Plan for 2018 to 2021. Four focus areas were identified as, Accessibility and safety, Advocacy, Consultation and communication, Innovation and new technology, and Sustainability. The targets set by the C40 agreement and the challenges of the America's Cup are also covered.
