Upcoming Events: you don't want to miss...

The Illinois University Incubator Network (IUIN) is offering a free Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer Program (STTR) workshop this Friday September 29th at Innovate Springfield, (15 South Old State Capitol Plaza Springfield, IL 62701) from 8am – 12pm.

Nationally recognized SBIR / STTR consultant Jim Greenwood will provide a free half day workshop detailing the SBIR and STTR programs. The SBIR and STTR programs provide qualified small businesses opportunities to propose innovative projects that meet specific federal needs. These programs offer more than $2 billion dollars annually to support the research and development of technology by small businesses across the nation. Entrepreneurs can be awarded between $150,000 to $1.5 million in non-equity capital to determine a technology’s feasibility and develop a prototype.

We hope you can join us this Friday, September 29 from 8 AM – 12 PM here at iSPI to learn more about the SBIR and STTR Programs. Breakfast will be served. For additional information on the SBIR / STTR program visit the SBIR website: www.sbir.gov.
