COMMUNITY FOOD FREE FUN GAMES FAMILY

Food and fun begin after the Noon Mass (bilingual next week), so invite your family, neighbors, and friends to join us for Mass and the Picnic. This is a free parish event, and one of our families has generously covered the cost of the chicken and sausage. If you would like to help with expenses, a donation in the Sunday collection is the way to go.

Silver Seniors

A regular gathering of our parish seniors age 55 and up who welcome and support one another in their spiritual growth and fellowship.

When we gather, expect to:

play board games, dominoes, bingo, card games, enjoy pot luck, group trips to Missions Baseball or High school football games or Restaurants/Movie theaters, etc., learn gardening tips, painting on canvas, crafting rosaries, designing floral arrangements.

Stay tuned, Silver Seniors are planning their first gathering on Monday October 2nd.

I AM VERY GRATEFUL FOR THE WORD OF MOUTH REFERRALS FOR BAPTISMS AND SACRAMENTS

But please encourage people to come and visit on Sunday and talk to me after Mass rather than just call the office for information. We gather best as a community around Eucharist. And PLEASE be very welcoming to new participants at Mass! Even if they are not new, and just new to you, say hello, offer to show them where the bathrooms are, tell them of our plans, introduce them to me (in case they are shy - in case I am distracted!) THANK YOU!!!

Holy Communion to the Homebound

One of the more beautiful ministries of our parish is bringing Holy Communion to the sick. One of my more difficult tasks is identifying those who need Communion brought to them. If you need a bit of help, or have a neighbor who does (after talking to her or him), please sign up below:
