As you may know...we love visitors in our F1VEart studio!  

When we're in studio painting, our doors are almost always open for all to come in and see artists art work. Though it's not everyday we get a visit from two of my favorite aspiring artists...Story & Becks. Their Mom and Grandma often text Auntie Denise photos of pieces fresh off the easel (yes, Story has her own little art studio and easel) and I am delighted by their creative minds.

 These two came to the studio this week ready to paint! After taking a good look around at what a working art studio looks like, Story opened up her art box and Beck's got out a piece of watercolor paper,  paints, markers and both were very attentive to whatever art advice I could offer them! 

There’s no doubt that art is just plain fun for kids (and grown ups). Dipping fingers into paint and making magical pictures to hang on the fridge is pretty cool. Though did you know the arts also help kids develop on so many fundamental levels?

creativity • motor skills • decision making • focus • confidence

Becks is very detailed oriented...not only the excavator, but it was very important that every button and wire needed to be included in his painting!

These two have two older brothers, Gauge & Merit, who are also wonderful artists...

along with parents who make sure they have all the tools to create with!

After checking out our amazing view of downtown San Diego with planes flying right over over our heads from the airport...it was time for them to hang their art and say bye bye until next time...and there will be a next time!
