MAUI NEEDS OUR KŌKUA!

We never thought we’d hear anything like this: “In the wake of the disaster, Maui looks like a war zone.” We’re putting out a kāhea (a call) to everyone to lend a helping hand to our Maui `ohana (families). Let’s all be guided by the Aloha Spirt as we pitch in to help rebuild Maui and its people. Here are some ways you can kōkua:

Congressional School Camp 'Aha 'Ohana Day

We are always honored to partner with the Congressional Schools in Falls Church, Virginia, for their annual `Aha `Ohana Day! This year we helped campers and their families relax and unwind with our Lei (Garland) Making Workshop and then challenged their minds by teaching them the strategy and history of Kōnane (an ancient game resembling checkers). Campers and their families were also able to enjoy 'ono mea 'ai (delicious food) provided by Aloha Crew. The evening was finished with a Hula performance and audience participation with all of the campers at the amphitheater under the tiki lights.

Mahalo to Congressional School Camp for organizing this fun 'ohana event. We look forward to partnering with you again!
